This project consists of a 253.26 mts long pre-stressed concrete AASHTO type IV beams bridge over Río Yauco and its accesses, demolition and removal of existing bridge structures on highway PR-2 and PR-335, grading, drainage and other works. Also this contract includes the relocation of 540 mts on Highway PR-335.

The purpose of this project was to provide citizens, especially those with special needs, a safe and comfortable area for the enjoyment of activities within the beach area. This work entailed the construction of parking areas, lighting, service building with special “tensioned membrane” architectural roof, playground areas, showers, gazebos, landscaping and improvements to some of the existing huts in order to make those suitable for the handicapped.
